Często do rysunku używam aparatu fotograficznego, właściwie zapisuję to co rysuje się na moich oczach, czego jestem świadkiem, obserwatorem. Podążam za procesem i łapię losowo wybrany moment. Światło rysuje, ja dokumentuję.
I often use a camera as a drawing tool. In fact, I record what is being drawn before my eyes – what I witness and observe. I follow the process and capture a randomly chosen moment. Light draws; I document.
KORONKI / LACEWORK
Fotograficzny zapis wybranego losowo w czasie momentu z procesu tworzenia świetlnych koronek. Rejestruję wielowarstwowe „rysunki”, powstające tam, gdzie zastane światło (naturalne lub sztuczne) przenika przez inne obiekty, załamuje się na ich krawędziach lub odbija od przypadkowych powierzchni. Przypomina mi to tkanie koronek. Te jednak nigdy nie powstaną.
A photographic record of a randomly selected moment in time from the process of creating light laceworks. I register multilayered “drawings” formed where existing light (natural or artificial) passes through other objects, breaks on their edges, or reflects off accidental surfaces. It reminds me of lace-making – lace that will never actually be created.

A-WERS / A-VERSE
Efemeryczne mikroświaty w odbiciach szyb, kałuż, witryn i innych powierzchni w przestrzeni miejskiej. Równoległa rzeczywistość przesunięta wobec naszej. Pozornie ją fragmentarycznie powtarza, jednocześnie przekształca czas, odwraca znaczenie i bieg zdarzeń, ich cel. Stwarza nietrwałą koegzystencję w innym wymiarze. Dokumentuję to co się rysuje na moich oczach, co trwa chwilę.
Ephemeral microworlds appear in reflections of glass panes, puddles, shop windows, and other surfaces within urban space. A parallel reality, shifted in relation to our own. It seemingly repeats it in fragments, while simultaneously transforming time, reversing meaning and the course of events, and altering their purpose. It creates a fleeting coexistence in another dimension. I document what draws itself before my eyes – what lasts only for a moment.
